Tandem paragliding, Chambéry, Aix-les-Bains, Aiguebelette — Take to the sky.

Tandem paragliding is a supervised and safe activity: you fly with a state-certified instructor, with regularly inspected equipment and a reserve parachute. The flight only goes ahead if the weather allows: at the slightest doubt, it's rescheduled at no extra cost.

The discovery flight, our first-time tandem flight, costs €95. Allow €115 for the thermal flight, €130 for the prestige flight and €280 for the hike & fly. The photos and videos option is +€20 on every flight.

Around Lake Bourget and Lake Aiguebelette: from Vérel near Chambéry, from the Revard, the Sapenay or the Dent du Chat near Aix-les-Bains, or from Province at Aiguebelette. The site is chosen based on the day's wind.

In the air: 10 to 15 min for the discovery flight, 15 to 20 min for the thermal flight and 20 to 30 min for the prestige flight. In total, from the meeting point to landing, allow 1 to 1.5 hours (1.5 to 2 hours for the prestige flight). The hike & fly takes half a day.

Not for the discovery, thermal or prestige flights: you just need to be able to run a few steps at take-off, the pilot takes care of the rest. The hike & fly requires good fitness for the walk up (around 800 m of ascent).

From age 6 for the discovery flight, with no minimum weight. For the thermal and prestige flights, you need to weigh between 50 and 110 kg. The maximum weight is 110 kg for every flight.

Yes. Feeling nervous before take-off is normal and usually fades within the first few minutes of the flight. As for a fear of heights, it comes from the feeling of empty space when you stand at the edge of a drop: seated in the harness with nothing underfoot, it usually doesn't kick in.

Let the pilot know before take-off: they'll adapt their flying, with no tight turns or aerobatics. If you're very sensitive, the discovery flight, which is shorter, is the best fit.

It's cooler in the air than on the ground, even in summer: bring a fleece or jumper and a windproof jacket. In spring and autumn, add a light down jacket and thin gloves. On your feet, trainers or hiking shoes (no sandals). Don't forget your sunglasses.

For the discovery, thermal and prestige flights, the meeting point is sent to you the day before by email and text message, depending on the day's weather. From there, we take you up to take-off by car or shuttle. Landing is at the meeting point: your friends and family can wait for you there, but they don't come up to take-off (there's no room in our vehicles).

If the weather doesn't allow a safe flight, it's rescheduled at no extra cost. On your side, let us know at least 48 hours ahead to change the date. Within 48 hours, the flight remains due, unless you have a valid reason (a medical certificate, for example).

We fly from May to October. Spring and summer offer the best conditions for longer flights (thermal, prestige). Autumn brings beautiful light and calm air, ideal for a first flight.
